Hormones can affect energy, sleep, metabolism, mood, libido, weight, and overall wellbeing — for both men and women.
If you are struggling with fatigue, stubborn weight changes, poor sleep, brain fog, low motivation, symptoms of perimenopause or menopause, or concerns about low testosterone, hormones may be part of the picture.
At Direct Primary Care of West Michigan, we take a thoughtful, evidence-informed approach to hormone health that looks beyond quick fixes and focuses on helping you feel your best.

Sometimes hormones are the primary issue. Other times, they are one part of a bigger picture involving sleep, stress, nutrition, metabolic health, inflammation, or lifestyle habits.
Many hormone clinics focus only on replacing hormones.
At Direct Primary Care of West Michigan, we start by understanding the full picture.
Hormones do not work in isolation. Sleep, stress, nutrition, thyroid health, insulin resistance, inflammation, body composition, movement, and lifestyle habits all influence how you feel.
Our goal is not simply to normalize lab values — it is to help you better understand your body and feel your best.

Hormone care is individualized.
Patients starting hormone therapy often benefit from 2–4 follow-up visits during the first year to monitor symptoms, review labs when appropriate, and make thoughtful adjustments.
Once stable, many patients transition to periodic follow-up every 6–12 months.
Our goal is thoughtful, individualized care — not unnecessary visits or one-size-fits-all treatment plans.
